PLAN OF SALVATION.pdf <<click here

It is Simple to Lead Someone to be Saved

Step One: Lead the person to acknowledge that everyone has sinned.

Read Romans 3:23. Page ___ in my Bible.
Ask the person if he or she has sinned. No one is perfect.

Step Two: Share with the person that sin has a terrible consequence.

Read the first half of Romans 6:23. Page ___ in my Bible.
A wage is what is earned or deserved. The wage of sin is spiritual and physical death.

Step Three: Explain that God desires to give a gift rather than see a person die in sin.

Read the second half of Romans 6:23. Page ___ in my Bible.
God does not want anyone to die spiritually. His gift is salvation from sin.

Step Four: Tell the person that God loves him/her so much that He sent Jesus to pay the price for our sin.

Read Romans 5:8. Page ___ in my Bible.
God loves sinners so much that He sent Jesus to die in our place. When Jesus died on the cross, His death was the substitute for our sins.

Step Five: Help the person to be saved.

Read Romans 10:9-10. Page ___ in my Bible.
The person must:
-Confess that Jesus is Lord.
-Believe that God raised Jesus from the dead.

Read Romans 10:13. Page ___ in my Bible.
The person must:
-Pray (“call on”) for forgiveness of sin and ask Jesus to save her/him from sin. You can help the person offer a prayer like this:

“Dear God, I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins, and come into my life. I believe that Jesus died for my sin. I turn away from my sins, and accept Jesus as Lord of my life. I will follow Jesus the rest of my life. Thank you Jesus, for saving me. Amen.”
